Dry, wrinkled, or just plain tired-looking hands?
If you feel like your hands are aging faster than the rest of you, you're not imagining it. The skin on our hands is thinner, has fewer oil glands, and gets exposed to sun, water, and chemicals almost constantly.
But that doesn’t mean you’re stuck with dry, crinkly hands forever.
This is the exact hand care routine I use to fix dry, aging hands—and it made a noticeable difference in texture, tone, and fullness. Some of these tips might sound a little "out there," but trust me—they work.
This one's a bit unusual, but it made a big difference for me.
Volufiline is a plumping ingredient developed by a French company, and it's usually marketed for the face or chest. But I started mixing a few drops into my nightly hand cream—and wow.
It hydrates deeply, and after a few weeks, my hands looked noticeably fuller and smoother. (It might be the hydration or the formula doing its magic—either way, I’m not stopping.)
ABZ Tip: I use a 5% Volufiline serum and mix 2-3 drops into a pea-sized amount of hand cream before bed.
I do this at night before bed. Just a minute or two of massaging the tops of your hands (especially around knuckles and tendons) helps stimulate blood flow and collagen production.

Not only does it feel good, it helps your anti-aging hand products absorb better. I follow with a rich cream and wear cotton gloves overnight. And your hands look so much better right after this quick massage!
This wa something my Polish grandma did—because she knew all the old world tricks! Mix turmeric, lemon juice, and honey into a paste and apply to the backs of your hands for 10 minutes.
It helps brighten age spots and even out tone. Just don’t skip the honey—it keeps the turmeric from staining. You can also add vitamin C. See how it helped lighten (actually got rid of) the brown spots on my neck.
ABZ Tip: Always rinse with warm water and follow with sunscreen if you’re going out.
I started wearing white cotton gloves while driving after realizing my hands were basically baking behind the wheel. Even if you apply SPF (especially one with a high PA++ rating), it’s a pain to reapply every time you get in the car.
Wearing gloves might sound a little old-school, but trust me—it works to prevent new spots and wrinkles. And honestly, there’s something kind of glam about it. 😎
But here’s the upgrade I didn’t know I needed:
Multi-use pick (and I love these):
These Evridwear Moisturizing Gloves completely changed the game for me.
I used to skip hand treatments because once the gloves went on, I couldn’t do much. But these are soft, breathable, and touchscreen-friendly—which means I can still use my phone, type, or scroll while the lotion sinks in.
I even wear them while driving to keep my hands protected from the sun. One pair, multiple uses... and yes, I’m obsessed.
If you’re only exfoliating your hands with harsh soaps or not at all, you're missing out.
Once or twice a week, I use a sugar scrub (sometimes with almond oil or coffee grounds) to gently buff away dull skin and improve texture.
The key: Be as gentle with your hands as you are with your face.

You don’t have to do all of these every single day. Even adding one or two of these hand care tricks into your weekly routine can help your hands look smoother, softer, and younger over time.
