This is the face oil I reach for every day—it hydrates, softens, and works beautifully for facial massage too.Face oils have been part of my routine for years — especially once my skin started changing and needed a little more than just a cream.
When you use the right ones, they don’t feel greasy or heavy. They sink in, help skin look softer and smoother, and give that healthy, natural glow.
I try to choose oils made with wildcrafted and organic ingredients, without fillers or synthetic fragrance — just oils that feel good on my face and work well for hydration, glow, and massage.
Not all oils are created equal. A true clean beauty face oil should be:
Clean oils absorb easily, balance skin, and support a naturally radiant look—especially as our skin gets drier with age.
After 40, our skin produces less oil, which can lead to:
Face oils help restore glow by locking in moisture, supporting elasticity, and boosting suppleness. And when the formula is clean? Even better for sensitive or reactive skin.
If you’re brand new to using oils on your face, my face oils guide for beginners walks through how to choose an oil, how much to use, and how to avoid breakouts.
Here are glow-boosting oils that work beautifully on mature skin:
Want a shortcut? Annmarie’s Anti-Aging Facial Oil blends chia, goji, and broccoli seed oils for a luxe, glow-friendly formula that checks every clean beauty box.
For that fresh, lit-from-within look I like to do this:
This is a great oil to use before face massage or facial exercises. For face massage, use enough to glide your hands easily.
But if you’re doing face exercises, just use a drop—you need a little grip so your fingers don’t slide around. That way, you can apply enough pressure to actually work the muscles.
Optional: Use it with a facial massage tool (like a gua sha and on some days the kansa wand) to enhance circulation and glow.
I’m not into piling on highlighter creams or glow drops that just fake healthy skin. I’d rather use something that actually helps my skin look and feel better.
One clean face oil I really like is part of a natural skincare set that supports aging skin with real hydration, softness, and glow—no shimmer, no filters, no junk.
If you’re curious, there’s a small trial set available right now that includes the oil, serum, aloe cleanser, and even a brightening Vitamin C (plus a free gift and free shipping). It’s a nice way to test everything without committing.
If you’re new to face oils or worried about breakouts, start with a lightweight blend and apply it at night. Your skin will thank you by morning.
