Plexaderm in the Heat? Here's What Happened
Hey there!
Over the long (and very humid) Memorial Day weekend, I decided to put two popular under-eye serums to the test: Plexaderm and Peter Thomas Roth FirmX.
Both are made to visibly smooth puffiness, dark circles, fine lines, and those crinkly little under-eye wrinkles we all deal with—especially on long, sweaty days.
💦 It was 90 degrees. Sticky and uncomfortable. Definitely not ideal skincare weather.
But honestly? Perfect for testing which one actually holds up under sweat, sunscreen, and a full day outdoors.
My honest takeaway? Both serums held up surprisingly well in the heat and humidity.
Plexaderm felt a little tackier on my skin—almost like it was locking everything in place. Peter Thomas Roth, on the other hand, stayed dry and comfortable as soon as I started to sweat.
Still, both gave me smoother, tighter-looking under-eyes by the end of the day, which honestly surprised me given the conditions.
If you’ve ever wondered which serum performs better in heat, on dry skin, or during high-humidity days, I laid it all out for you right here:
